Paris, France

Place du Trocadero

Welcome to one of my favorite European cities, Paris, France!

Many of my travel friends that have visited before complained of how touristy Paris can get, but there is a reason this city is so loved by many. It is the city of LOVE!

I hired a photographer for a professional photo shoot session, and I am so glad that I did. The pictures turned out so well, and the photographer was kind enough to drive me to all the shoot locations.

Eiffel Tower,

Magical man-made landmark. It was worth the long wait in line for a ticket and to get to the top for the best views of the city.

Paris has always been a destination dream of mine; seeing the Eiffel Tower in person was one of the main reasons I wanted to come to this charming city.

The only downside to visiting the Eiffel Tower is the vendors selling souvenirs right outside. It gets a little overwhelming after a while.

The Louvre,

Beautiful inside and out. Get your ticket online to avoid the line. Enter through the underground shopping center and save time and energy. You can easily spend hours looking at the variety of art collections.

Arc de Triomphe

Had some escargot one night and really enjoyed it, the restaurant was recommended to me by an Uber driver. It was a bit pricey, but the experience was worth it. Solo fine dining at its best.

Language barrier was a bit of an issue in Paris, especially when it came to using public transportation. I know as a tourist I should make the effort to learn basic phrases to communicate with locals, but my French is terrible. Most were kind enough to speak English with me, others were a bit irritated that I was not trying hard enough. I took two years of French in high school, and it was my favorite class too, but none of that stuff I learned resurfaced in my head in Paris.
